My overall opinion of Ozark Christian College is that it is a safe environment. Also, they make you feel like family there. You get close to the people on your dorm floor. If you ever need something, the other people on your dorm floor will help you out by giving you what you need, when you need it.
Ozark is a special place made up of broken people. While here you will experience college life at it's fullest within the Christian setting. You will experience deep community with like-minded friends and get life long experiences. This school is different from others because they actually care about you.
Ozark is a fantastic school where we are challenged academically and spiritually. The professors genuinely care about the students and the community is amazing.
I LOVE Ozark Christian College! What may be lacking in sports or clubs is made up ten-fold in the community-driven activities we do have. The rigorous academic expectations are combined with personable professors available to mentor you, offer their shoulder to cry on, walk through the syllabus with you or let you crash at their house if you need a place to chill. OCC is the place to be.

Ozark Christian College is a wonderful place to grow in your Christian walk with brothers and sisters in Christ who keep you accountable to growth in academics, spiritual disciplines, and community in general.
It is considered a private school so many state grants and things will not come into effect here.
Everyone here makes you feel completely like family. As soon as you walk in everyone has a smile to share and a warm heart to make you feel welcome! It's truly an amazing atmosphere. Everyone cares about you and what is going on in your life and are sincerely interested! !
Anyone who wants to have a deeper relationship with God even if they do not necessarily want to go into strictly ministry.
Ozark is best known for preparing men and women to go out and evagelize to a wide variety of people and work within a community to better it.
The best aspect of my school is Ozark Christian College offers an in-depth study of Christian worldview through an intellectual lens. It equips us with the knowledge we need to face any attacks on the Christian faith.
I brag most about the community of Ozark Christian College. My dorm feels like family; all of the girls are like the sisters I never had. I feel just as comfortable in the other girls' dorms as my own, making the campus even more united. All the dorms get along well with one another, making the campus as a whole very connected. Everyone is very friendly and I have enjoyed my college experience so much because of the community here.
Challenging, but they can be done. It definitely is a step up from High School and there is a LOT more reading to be done in College but it all is doable with determination and hard work.
I think especially for a Christian college people tend to think of us as goody-toe-shoes or that we think of ourselves as above the rest. I don't think that is true at all. We just have recognized that we are sinners and that we need Jesus, so we have chosen Jesus as our Savior and went to a school so we could learn more about him. Of course, there are also people who haven't and it is our job to share our faith with them and love them for being themselves.
The most frustrating thing about Ozark for me wasn't so much the school itself, but the various weather conditions that occur in the midwest. Coming from the central valley in California, I was not used to such cold weather and spectacular thunder storms.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible.
