There is so much to do here. It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, what you're like. You will find a place to fit in and fit in well. There are clubs and sports and meetings and councils and there's always something to get involved in. Also, weekends don't have to be about drinking here. There is so much other stuff available for those of us who don't like to go to frats, which is rare for a big university such as this one.

Academics is well balanced with extracurricular activities that will prepare me for the real world.

PDS (Professional Development Schools Program) I was chosen to be in the PDS program my senior year which is a program run between the university and State College School District. It is basically a year long internship/student teaching opportunity which is fascinating. Without this program and this opportunity I would have regretted my entire time spent at Penn State in the Education program. The faculty/staff working for PDS are the greatest. The icecream and football games here are pretty awesome too.

The school spirit is HUGE. You feel like part of a community of people that are very friendly and always there to help you out. No one judges you or makes you feel out of place.

I love the atmosphere of the school which contains a lot of school spirit especially with the football team. Greek life is a major part of the social scene.

Penn State Football is probably one of the best sports events, let alone collegiate events, that you can attend. It brings together all of the Penn State students, regardless of what campus they attend, and it brings students together with alumni and friends fo the university. The experience is unparalleled in every right and is probably one of the most well know things about Penn State.

The best thing about my school is the Pride! Whether it's football, research and development, or the #1 paying alumni, Penn State is a great place to grow, and become the best you can be. With the great pride that all Penn State alumni and current students hold, Penn State has become one of the most well recognized Universities Internationally. With this great recognition comes amazing professors, students and great opportunites in the future. I know my future holds nothing but complete optimism with Penn State.

No one is judgemental of each other. It doesn't matter what you look like or what your beliefs are, everyone is accepting and eager to meet new people.

The educational programs here are very rewarding and academically stimulating. I feel that if you are going to pay good money to attend a university, you should get your money's worth and receive a education that can get you places in the future. Going to Penn State, I have spent my money wisely.

The school spirit. We have the biggest alumni association in america, and we have the highest packed stadium. Football and school spirit is one of the biggest things about penn state, so if your not into that then it may not be the best choice for you.

I love the school spirit. I really feel like I am a part of something great. It's an immediate connection that's established as soon as you meet someone who graduated/goes to PSU. It really is an experience you have to live to understand, but it is absolutely great. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

There is always something to do every day and night of the week. Whether you want to meet new people, play sports, or do anything else you will have the opportunity to do it anytime you want to.

Penn State has a very high feeling of "school pride" on campus, and although there are nearly 40,000 students on Main Campus, it really feels like a family. As a student, there is a strong feeling of "belonging" at PSU.

Penn State provides a wonderful environment for learning and growing. Students are given wide opportunities to learn, build upon their skills, and to take on new challenges. It's a place where people will discover themselves and gain interest that they will love for life.

I believe the best thing about Penn State is our school pride. It ranges from pride in our academics, athletic programs, and community service activities. We have the power to fill up an entire stadium with 110,000 fans dressed in white. This is possible because of the pride our students, faculty, and alumni share for Penn State. PSU is more than just a school we choose to go to. It has become a way of life. We wear blue and white proud. And the words ?we are? will never feel right without an uproar of ?Penn State? shortly afterwards.

The atmosphere of the campus is beautiful. For the most part, the students are friendly, and willing to help you if need be. The teachers are passionate about what they teach. And there is an awesome Social life, you just have to find the balance between the two. Oh, yea.... GO NITTANY LIONS, because our football team rocks!.

The school spirit and wide diversity of things to do.

I love the student enthusiasm and activities. Everything about the campus and surrounding off-campus area is all about the students and everything is very student focused. I love the football games and everything there is to do downtown. Everyone from Penn State is a family and are so proud of where they came from. It's a great thing to be a part of. It's an amazing school with awesome opportunites and is definitely the place to be. If I had to start all over I wouldnt pick anywhere else.

I would have to say that everyone here has a lot of school spirit. The alumni is another great thing about Penn State, all of the alumni are willing to help fellow students with whatever they need. This is a big help when it comes to looking for a job.

The education I am recieving

Penn State is a geat school if you want to come and have a good time. There is always somehing going on, never a dull weekend, and you can get involved in countless activities! The football games are the greatest! My first football game here was one of the greatest experiences of my life! And the classes may be big, but they really aren't bad when it comes down to it.

It's lots of fun because there's a strong sense of community and school spirit and it's easy to make friends that end up being long-lasting friends.

The sense of community and laid-back atmosphere around campus and town. It keeps one from getting too stressed out about everything going on in life.

Alumni, Spirit, Pride, and Tradition

I think that the best part of Penn State UP is the people. Not just the students or the faculty, but both of them together. It's very easy to find people with similar interests or get ahold of your professor, as long as you take the initiative . People won't just come to you. I think that with out the people, this campus would be very dull and it wouldn't be worth going here.

The best thing about my school is the pride that you feel attending it. Not only is Penn State known for its' sports, but it has a great academic program and an alumni network that is unbelieveable. I am always very proud to say that I go to Penn State. There is nothing better than meeting someone who went to Penn State. There is so much school spirit and pride about this University and it brings cohesiveness to the campus. If there is one thing we all know it is, "We are, Penn State!"

The best thing about my school is that there are so many things you can get involved in. They have over 300 groups / clubs that you can join. With that many clubs, everyone can find something that they enjoy. If they dont, they can create their own club. Penn State really wants everyone to get involved in things other then academics. It helps students adjust to college and it also helps them to make friends.

I think the best thing about PSU is that it is nationally recognized as one of the best academically. It prepares you for a career and looks good on resumes.

The amount of opportunities Penn State gives to all of their students is the best thing about my school. The college experience is all about what the individual makes of the situation. The sky is the limit and if you want to accomplish something here, it can be done as long as you are willing to work hard to achieve something that is important to you.
