I don't have anything bad to say about Red Rocks.
I am a student online. So there is nothing jet.
The worst thing about my school would be the parking. The reason is because theres hardly ever a space open near the school.
I wish college was cheaper. The worst thing about attending my school is imagining that when I graduate I won't have a job because of the economy. I'm worried that no matter how hard I work I won't be able to attend a four year university. One of my dreams is to transfer to one of my state colleges and obtain a bachelor's degree in business. If school was more affordable I could breathe easier and not stress on paying bills in the future.
I don't have too many complaints about my school, but I will say some of the professors I've dealt with have some arbitrary grading criteria. ie: a professor was going to mark me down an entire letter grade for not completing a 10 hour volunteer project when I went down to the place and waited and no one ever showed up. He was holding me responsible for the person not being there which isn't fair. After much conversation, he reconsidered and I got an "A" but it never should have happened.
The quality of the advisors. On orentation day none seemed willing to help and tried to pass me off to other advisors.
Since it is a community college, there are many peole who are just there to get a degree becasue their work suggests to futher their education. I would like to be with other students who wants to receive an education. Students on the most part, are not really concerned about learning in class, rather just getting through the course, so they can go back to the workplace. For students like me who recently graduated from high school, students range from all sorts of ages where not many are in my age group.
Again the finiancial aid office, I have been going to the school for a few years now and I haven't been able to see an adivsor.
I think the graduation rate could be better just because than it can assure more people can recieve jobs after college.
