My classmates are helpful to one another with schoolwork.

There were a lot of different types of students there, some studious, some partiers, but most of them were very nice.

My classmates are very eager to learn new things in order to be better rounded individuals, constantly studying and always willing to help those in need of guidance, whether it be career or school related.

As far as i have seen, Each of my classmates are different. College is nothing like High School. I have created a wonderful group of friends that would do anything for me. Each of them very unique in their own way. We all share similarities but, then again are nothing alike. Never meet anyone rude of mean in my classes. People will come in to lecture and say hello, ask for help, give help, ect.. Weather you know them or not.

I would consider some to be unfocused and at college to party rather then learn. However others are very ambitious and smart( 50/50 split between the two).

Mostly Caucasian population in classrooms. A slight majority have generally liberal views. Ethinicity and race could differ from the mostly Caucasian population to others depending on the course.

My classmates at SUNY at Albany are motivating, encouraging, and determined.

Albany is extremely diverse and tolerant. You will meet anyone and everyone you've ever imagined, and a few characters you never could have dreamed up. But for the most part the student body is a bunch of rich kids from Long Island or the surrounding area, who will spend the rest of their lives living off of mommy and daddy's successes. Honestly, when I'm talking to a guy at the bar and he says he's from Long Island, I walk away. They're just too much trouble and too high-maintenance for someone who didn't grow up in the same environment.

They are fun loving, eclectic, and studious people that can take their work seriously if they want to.

Sometimes helpful, but they don't always make an effort to get to know people they don't know in class, so it can be hard to make friends in class if you're shy or socially awkward.

Apathetic, and only concerned with what they'll be doing over the weekend.

Fellow classmates are usually intelligent, and opinionated. Classroom discussion is familiar and strongly encouraged, which is great because its the best way to get to know your classmates and your teacher, not to mention its easier to approach the idea of study groups!

My classemates are your average college student, who attempt to balance their social life and academic studies while discovering who they are.

Normal students going to school because they eventually have to make something of themselves.

The student body is diverse but few mix. You hang out with people who are similar to you. There is no effort from the school to change this.
