Diverse population of students and a wide range of programs offered

There a lot things that i like about University at Albany, but one of the best thing is the relationship between students and the faculty member. As a biochemistry major and math minor i always try to develop strong relationships with my professors. They are always willing and available to help, they also provide helpful guidance and advice on how to be a successful stuedent. Another important thing i like about my school is that the students are very friendly and accepting of each other's race and culture which enable us to have a great social life.

It's reputation.

I like the amount of programs available. It was the only college at least on the East Coast that offered medieval and renaissance studies as a major and i am able to make it a double major with archaeology.

The best thing about my school is its ability to help its students find themselves. It has a wide range in studies. Everyone from the business CEO, doctor, or aspiring artist has an equal opportunity at the University at Albany. Study abroad programs and over 300 organizations help students to take a deeper look into themselves and discover who they truly are.

At the University of Albany, we are known for being an excessivley large school. I simply see it as a school which accepts all types of people for who they are, and gives an individual the opportunity to make lifelong friends. I see a remarkable amount of social interaction occuring; with students young and old, athletic and artistic, the beautiful and the intelligent. Simply because there are so many people to connect with there is the key point which allows me to call the University at Albany "home."

The diversity of UA is definitely the best aspect of the University. However, I am not just referring to racial and ethnic diversity. In almost any classroom there are slackers who are satisfied if they just pass the class, achievers who want the best grade, and everyone in between. Then, when you leave the classroom, there are people with all kinds of interests, from going green to partying to fitness. There is really a place for everyone if you just look for it. The interesting thing, though, is that the professors are just as diverse as the students.

The best thing about SUNY Albany is probably its proximity to my home. It is just far enough away that I can live on campus, but not so far that it's hard to get home for breaks.

What i consider to be the best thing about SUNY at Albany is that the teachers are dedicatd to you learning something from their class. I also appreciate that we have all the means to succeed at are finger tips, whether it is counselors, internships, library accessability or internet and computer's everything is provided for us to do well if we try,

The best think about my school is the campus. The people you meet here. School is not that far from home, but far enough where you feel like you're in a different place.

The people that attend - I have made some amazing friends

The best thing about my school would have to be Christopher E Fernando. This is a man who when you have nothing he gives you the inspiration to believe that nothing is unobtainable .

The faculty is well diversed and wlling to go above and beyond to accomodate the students, thats why ualbany is the place to be!

The transportation is accessable and free to almost anywhere in Albany! Great for going out !

The best part of my school is being able to make friends wherever you go and getting a good education at the same time

I love the compact layout of the campus, the way it feels like a small campus even though it hosts many students. I love how there are so many people and so many things going on, and that it's a short walk to everywhere. Everything is in reach.

There's always something to do and it's really easy to make a lot of friends fast because everyone seems very open to anything and since there so much going on all the time it'd be hard to be bored or alone.

I think the structure, just because its a huge campus and we all live together but not cluttered. We are allowed the chance to walk all over and see how big and beatiful our campus is. To just take a breather and relaxe when we need it the most.
