I think one of the top advantages Temple University holds over other colleges/universities is the diverse atmosphere. There are so many great people (teachers and peers alike) that really bring cultural diversity into the heart of Philadelphia. Aside from the poeple, Temple has numerous career paths to choose from and has established a great reputation as one of the best, academically driven universities in the nation!

Temple is very diverse. It is in the heart of Philly and there is always something interesting going on no matter what you're interested in. Temple is highly ranked. We have some of the best schools that are nationally ranked, Fox School of Business, the Law School, and we have one of the best Communication Schools.

My school is a community in within a community and brings life and diversity to the area of Philadelphia in which it resides.

The naked truth is that Temple is going to surpass Universities here in Philadelphia. It will even surpass Pennstate Univeristy soon enough. It is leading the change here in Philadelphia!

My school is culturally diverse. All walks of life are welcome here and going to school in a historic city makes it easy to find activities that suit you.

Temple University is located just next to a large city, where not only is academic and future opportunity available, but it practically thrown at you. Because it is located in an urban area, attend college here teaches student not only school education, but how to live on your own, be independent and responsible. Lastly, the area is the most diverse and interactive campus I have ever attended along with the most friendly - a great mix to feel comfortable when youre beginning your college experience.

The diversity is the biggest aspect that separates my school from any other. We have students from all over the world and it gives us an opportunity to interact and experience different cultures. The diversity is not only race, but religion, beliefs, values, academics etc. This was very important to me because I came from a diverse high school, similar to this university.

Temple University is one of the most diverse campuses in the country. Many of the classes here not only will benefit me for a future career, but in life in general. I have visited many campuses before deciding on Temple as my number one choice, and I can say that without a doubt no other school compares. There is always something for someone to do, always something for someone to get involved in, and there are countless possibilities for students to succeed.

First, the quality of education is great considering the cost - there are plenty of opportunities to do whatever you want academically (i.e, research, study abroad, internships, etc.). Great advisors, who really try to help students achieve their goals. Second, the campus itself is diverse, you're in an urban city, but you're also exposed to a lot of different things, so it's not like your secluded from the real world like other campuses.

Temple University gives students the opportunity to learn diverse perspectives within a safe learning environment. Temple professors focus on academic excellence as they usually are encouraged to engage in discourse within their field through publishing journals articles and books. This push to publish gives Temple faculty a current pedagogical awareness, and keeps their students current on the latest trends and ideas in whatever field it is. In the heart of Philadelphia, Temple brings students into the culture of the city, as well as into the culture of the University--one with a long-standing tradition and a committment to excellence.

My school has a location is philadelphia and ambler PA so it makes it more convenient to schedule classes.

My school has many resources to help students succeed, buildings are frequently renovated, new computer labs built with newest computers and technology in them, a new on campus housing building was erected two years ago. You really get the feeling that the school is not just taking money, but is using it to make the school a better place.

It is close to home and the cheapest. I was accepted into more better schools but in the end it was the financial status that really determined where i would go.

Temple is extremely racially diversed. It is good in the aspect of learning to work with different people that I have not previously had the opportunity to do.

I feel as though Temple was able to offer me a complete experience. I was able to move away from home, have my own apartment, and have a life outside of my comfort zone. Living here in Philadelphia and going to Temple has allowed for me to grow up without the influence of other expectations and also to be able to learn from my own mistakes.

This school is unique because I attend a small and diverse campus. I enjoy my campus because all my classes are small with 40 students max allowed. I can get a more personal relationship with the students and the teachers. I enjoy attending classes because I feel very safe going at night or in the day and get to know the different staff members who work there. Temple is a big school with a lot of different programs, but I can enjoy all the benefits without having to attend main campus.

Temple has a very good business programs, one of the best in the country. Teachers go out of their way to help their students and to make sure that they understand the course material. I felt completely comfortable asking the majority of my teachers for help.

Temple is unique in the fact that though it is one of the less expensive schools in the area, they are still really reputable. Most, if not all, of Temple's graduate schools are kmnown through out the country and people do actually travel from different states to go there. Going to medical school at Temple is just as prestigious as going to medical school at Penn in my opinion.

This school is in a city setting, so stores, movie theatres, and activities are near by. The school is world renown and bachelor degrees recieved from this school are highly looked upon. The internships and opportunites availible are great.

It specifically has the program that i was looking for. It offered everything that i was looking for academically. I mostly liked the city surroundings that the school had to offer.

Temple offered me a lot over the years. I grew so much in such a short time it's amazing. I only wished that I could do more and that Temple would let me do more. They are trying to move in the right direction, but certain things need to be controlled. Housing is a good example. Off campus housing such as The Edge are an abomination. I say this because they amount students pay for rent in relation to what they get is a crime. I compared what I paid for housing near the Art Museum with someone who was at The Edge. I paid less for a two bedroom 16th floor apartment that he did for a small studio. This was including utilities. Don't be a greedy bastard Temple. You can offer such a diverse way of life, but if things get caught up so much with the almighty dollar. You will simply become another regular, overpriced college.

I personally have no regrets about choosing Temple. It is a great place to get an education and to gain friendships. It is also in a great city with a lot to offer.

Temple is great and has a lot to offer socially and academically.

the administration doesn't do enough to cover the real issues, especially affordable housing for upperclassmen

Temple is great school for kids who know what they want and even those who still need to discover it. I can't stress enough how much the urban environment that Temple provides has helped me learn and grow as a person, in ways I never could have foreseen. I don't feel that many other schools can give that to their students.
