Anyone who likes to do anything outdoors. Even if you just like taking walks, you'll fit in. Students who are very preppy and don't want to be outside much will not have a huge peer group, though they will surely find some friends. Anyone who is open and friendly will have a great time at the University of Montana.

Anyone who thinks college is just a party should reconsider attending the University of Montana. I feel that the University frowns heavily on poor performance, and will punish those who break on-campus drinking and drug rules.

If you are not tolerant of people who may have different lifestyles or views this school may not be fight for you. If you can't stand cold weather Montana probably isn't the state for you! Winters can get cold!
