Anyone who is easily distracted or needs a structured environment in order to stay on track. There are a lot of extracurricular activities and heavy partying on the weekend- if you can't motivate yourself to work hard you will probably do poorly.

Any person can and should apply to this school. they have great programs in many different fields and are very helpful. they offer help academic wise for those that need it. But youhave to be focuses, serious and on top of your stuff because it is very fast paced and eay to fall behind

A quiet reserved person should not attend UCSB. It is very party focused and an energetic school. I believe it would make a more introverted person feel out of place. Then again it also might make them come out of their shell a bit more.

Someone who thinks they're smarter, better, richer, cooler than everybody else will also have them feeling sorry. Also, someone who cannot find the purpose of having a degree and living the college life to its fullest...through peers.
