Those who like a smaller college.

a student that wants a wonderful campus setting, with wonderful courses of study available in a challenging and fun environment.

Perhaps my brother. It should mentioned, this is not specifically for the reason that having a blood relative in the same city is screaming for fantastical nighmares, however. My brother is introverted. Usually college is a rough enough transition, however his shutting out of the rest of society only had this painfully negative twist on his first year here. Now, he is doing great, however I think if there is any particular type of person that would have trouble here, it would be a particularly introverted person.

A person who is not open to different cultures,races, and way of thinking. Also someone who is not willing to work hard and party all the time. And most definity, do not go to the Univeristy of Michigan if you are a Ohio State fan.

People who are not serious about working hard.

Someone who expects to get all A's should not go here. While it is possible, grades should not be the focus, but rather someone who is interested in learning what they are passionate about should go here with the mindset of doing their very best.

Someone who isn't committed to balancing their school work and social life. Someone who only wants to party and thinks school is their secondary objective.

a person that is afraid to go out and find fun in a bog setting where one can easily get lost in the big picture

Michigan is an excellent university for students that want to be challenged. It is a great academic school that pushes its students not only to excell in the classroom but also outside of it. In my time here, I feel like I have learned a lot about my self becuase of the challenges that i have had to overcome through hard work and perseverance.

Someone who relies very heavily on advising and isn't confident choosing their own courses.

Students who prefer small and personalized classes

Someone who respects and understands the value of a dollar. Someone who came from a small high school and was popular there. Someone who is used to individualized attetnion. Someone who is a bad test taker and relies on homework to boost their grades (most class grades here are determined soley by tests). Someone who is shy.

A conservitive, stuck-up, no-fun loser. Everything about UofM is about expanding your horizions and learning everything you can. If you arn't willing to learn, then UofM is NOT for you.

A person that is conservative and doesn't like big schools.

As many classes are very large, it is integral that students be self-motivators. People who need to be encouraged to do their work might do mbetter in a smaller environment.

Southern people who aren't used to cold weather.
