The best thing about The University of Michigan is the plethora of opportunites available to all students. This is such a diverse campus filled with so many different clubs and activities. I love the wide range of things that I can do while I am on campus.

I think the best thing about my school is the atmostphere. Soon after coming to the University of Michigan, I felt that Ann Arbor had become my home. I always have always felt welcomed in the community and I think the community welcomes each student to take part. Each student is an important part of the University of Michigan community, and I think we all feel this.

The school spirit and camraderie that comes from school pride and really knowing what "the Michigan difference" means. Knowing that we, as students and eventually alumni, can take part in this pride and still root for our football team years down the line is awe-inspiring and really makes me feel as if I am part of a tight-knit community despite the size of our school.

The best thing about my school is the reputation. To say you are a Michigan Man or Women means an incredible amount in the working world. UofM has produced some of the best scientists, business men, doctors and, more importantly, well rounded individuals out there today. Michigan teaches more then a career, but values and ideals that really stick in a true wolverine. To be called a Michigan Man or Women is a privledge, one I am very proud of myself to put myself in this category.

The amount of exposure to other cultures, ideas, religions and backgrounds is by far the best thing about my school.

The camaraderie makes the campus a warm place even when there is snow outside. Making friends is easy. Everyone is kind, and everyone wants to include you.

The education you receive is the best because each professor is usually considered among the best in their respective field.

The best thing about my current school is that is very well known.

The best thing about UM is the size of the university and the numerous opportunities to join some of the many organizations that are available in such a large institution.

University of Michigan has multiple strong points. We were recently named the best public university in the entire world. We have very strong academic programs for both undergrad and graduate programs. University of Michigan is the best university because it has something for everyone.

The best thing about this school is its diversity. There are so many directions you can take your education at U of M, and each direction is well-organized, well-taught, and has a large network of alumni to help you get started. At U of M, you can go into medicine, pre-law, liberal arts, musical theatre, art & design, and many more fields, knowing that you will be able to succeed.

The University is really big, so there are many different classes in numerous subjects that are offered.

It is incredibly large and diverse and resources are everywhere, albeit sometimes hard to find.

The people I met, from the students to the faculty. Interesting, diverse, friendly, brilliant in different ways, overall awesome people.

The size and atmosphere of the University of Michigan is amazing. The large size in combination with the passionate students and faculty leads to great opportunities of all kinds for students. You can do anything you want; if you want to learn to salsa, volunteer at a medical clinic in Guatemala, get involved in a politcal campaign, or just about anything else you can think of-- you can do it. If you want to go out and party on the weekends, you can do that too.

The best thing about Michigan is that no matter how diverse we are, we are all tied together by the amazing pride that comes with being a Michigan Wolverine.

Vocal Arts program, diversity

I love the football game and spirit. It is fun and a great detresser from school work.

The research opportunites are very vast. I would consider joining the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program here. Participating in research is the only way you will see where all of your money is going (the actual education here is not worth the money).

Amazing resources, tons of diversity, everything available for every type of student from sports to atheletics, partying to studious. It all depends on what you want to be. The extracurriculars are also plentiful and interesting, schools demanding yet rewarding.

The school spirit. No matter how competitive we are or how much we are pushed academically, in the end, we all go to Michigan.

The loyalty to the university is incredible. no matter where i go in the world i find a michigan alum who proudly bears their allegiance to the university. Sports is a wonderful gathering point and certainly helped in a very positive way towards immediate adjustment freshman year.

The people. Everyone I have met here as influenced me in some way, be it a professor, a GSI or my friends. Every experience has played out as a positive one even if it hadn't seemed that way in the first place. There is so much diversity on campus it really exposes you to a lot as well as giving you every opportunity to meet people you can really get along with.

The is definitely a pressure to succeed at this school. A lot of people have lots of high hopes and dreams and it is easy for that to rub off. It has encouraged me to study more and reach for higher goals.

It's the Michigan Difference. It is the ability to attend and be a part of one of the greatest Universities in the world. To represent the Michigan Wolverines as an athlete is even more of an achievement. Graduating from the University of Michigan will never be reversible; no one can take away the greatness from a Michigan Degree. The best thing about the school is the school itself. U of M. Everything the university and its student's represent. They're a certain breed of people; a favorable breed.

You can meet so many people, and you make some really good friends. Also, people are impressed when you go to interview for jobs when you've graduated from here.

On November 4th, 2008, Barack Obama was elected president. My friends and I immediately ran out to the diag (center of campus) to join what seemed like the rest of the school in celebration. Somehow, we knew that thousands of other students would be out there. I had never seen anything like it before. Strangers were hugging, laughing, and crying together. It was the kind of happiness the campus shared together at football victories, but multiplied by thousands. That night, I knew that I had chosen the right school, where students can truly unite through a cause and a success.

We are a top research institution with rigorous academic standards. Many of our departments are among the top programs in the country. We work as hard as any Ivy League student, with grading just as, if not more, strict. Yet, we are a large public university. This gives us a much more diverse student body with many different interests. It lets you find a group for anything you could possibly want. We offer all of this while maintaining the respect of academically inferior schools with large athletics programs. Never forget that we still have the winningest college football team.

The best thing about my school is the number of opportunities available to the students. There are an enormous amount of student organizations ranging from student government to club sports to Greek life, which allow for students to try new activities or continue participating in others. A many organizations also allow students to gain practical experience relating to their chosen field of study, whether it is engineering, business, law or most other majors.

I have to say, the coolest thing I have come to witness only happened recently. Within the School of Art, it is required for every art student to attend weekly art lectures at the Michigan Theater. These weekly lectures are open to the public, and involve UofM paying immensely large amounts of money for established artists to come and give a lecture about whatever art they are working on, or have been thinking about. Two weeks ago, Theo Jensen came by and discussed his living, breathing beach mamals he has been creating. Its a great program.

In retrospect, the most amazing thing about Michigan was its efficiency at providing students with the services they needed to be the best students they could be. Everything from financial services, medical services, academic advising, career advising, study help, mentoring, research opportunities, and many other large endeavors were well organized, easily accessed, useful, and helpful. Also, everything was done with the openness for improvement, in such a way that you felt like you were free to suggest improvements. Many times I even saw higher ups in the school take time to listen to student's ideas for improments.

The best thing about this school is its prestige. Most students who graduate will get a great career.

The professors are the best thing about Michigan. I have yet to have a professor that didn't care. Sure, one or two haven't been the best lecturers in the world, but they've all been extremely helpful and willing to assist students whenever they're approached.

The access to resources is the best thing about my school. There are a plethora of academic, cultural and professional resources available. A great number of students come to college uncertain about their major and future career. The advisors are helpful as they provide information about all the fields of study. Not only do they present information about the field you want to study, they also provide information about future career paths that your fields of study leads to. You can learn about a wealth of cultures at my school as well. There are many cultural organizaions here.

The best thing about the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor is that no matter what type of mood you are in there is always someplace to go. Wether you feel like cheering for one of our amazing sports teams, locking yourself away in the basement of the library, spending a pleasant night at a concer or play, getting a bite to eat at one of the amazing on campus restruants, or just "hanging out" on the Diag enjoying the weather (before it snows 10 ft!).

The University of Michigan prides itself on Diversity, and Diversity manifests itself in multitudinous ways. That is why the University of Michigan is incredible.

It has a nice balance between academics and the social scene as well as very challenging classes.

It's so big, and it has so many opportunies. I can study anything. I can take practically any class one could possibly imagine. Despite being so huge, school spirit is a factor that binds us all together, and it's not too difficult to find a niche.

No matter the niche I chose - be it the fraternity life, the dorm life, or the social group life (in my case the Men's Glee Club), I know I would have made friends here at Michigan.

The best thing about my school is the people I have met. I have met some lifelong friends.

School spirit! Saturdays bring out waves of students in maize and blue, but it's not just something you can measure on game days. Students are passionate about our school, and the various opportunities and activities that it gives them.

The pride of the students and faculty that are there. Having the motto "the leaders and best" really empowers students so that they feel like they can really make a difference in the world. Both in academics and sports, the University of Michigan excells tremendously and everyone who is a part of the school is proud to say they are a Wolverine.
