I brag about how it is really the perfect school for a lot of people. If you want to focus on yourself, go about your day, and not have anyone bother you, you can. On the flip side, if you want to be noticed, make a name for yourself and really get involved, there are pleanty of opportunities for that as well. As someone who is rather in the middle, I can really appreciate that.

I usually brag to my friends about the fact that my school has an ice skating rink and a pool that I can use to get fit on my free time, and that people at my school are very open-minded and love nature. It is amazing to be so close to the ocean, the mountains, and the woods. In each place, I find a release that energizes me for the next week.

I first brag about how nice looking the campus is. Then I talk about the academics. We have an amazing academic system that really prepares students for their future careers. The facilities and labs on campus are outstanding and the professors are even better. The professors here are extremely qualified in the field that they tech and they have an emense amount of knowledge to share with their students.

It's a really nice campus, everything is easy to get to. The area around the school has pretty much anything you need and if it isn't in the immediate area, there are plenty of buses to get you there. The teachers are very knowledgable, the class sizes are small enough that they will always answer your question. Housing is nice, all the facilities in general are nice actually. The food is good and you can get some even if you are up late studying. There is always help if you need, all you need to do is ask.

Thomas

Awesome campus. Small community. Big enough that it's not a gossip fest but small enough that you can know a group of people extremely well. Great social life. Fun classes. Awesome athletics

What I brag about most when I tell my friends about my school is how my school is the complete a total package. UNH has great classes/professors, sports teams, campus, food, housing, social scene, gym, community, and most importantly a friendly student body! UNH is the ideal college, you live in a friendly community while getting a highly valued education, all the while having a thriving social life. To top it all off, I love the camous even more because it's only about 45 mineuts away from my home town, which makes going home for holidays extremely easy.

UNH allows for students to become activists and be very involved not only on campus, but in the community as well. I brag to my friends at other schools that I've gotten to meet many of the presidential candidates by just staying on campus! There are also many clubs at UNH including a salsa dancing club, a cooking club, and even a juggling club. There is a group for everyone to fit in with, and the students are very accepting toward one another.

When I lay awake at night, I can hear the bells at Thompson Hall ringing. They are the same bells my mom heard thirty years ago when she was a student. The school has a timeless quality. It is clean and we have one of the most environmentally aware colleges in the country. There are year round sports and we are a short hike to the mountains as well as the beach. One has to earn the luxury of playing, as academics come first here. The school challenges you to be your best--I am constantly improving. Such is UNH.

Vanessa

I tell them it is the perfect location school -- close to the NH Seacoast, Boston, Maine, and only 5 hrs. from NYC. It has GREAT study abroad programs as well.
