Someone who is looking to just breeze through college should not attend the University of New Hampshire. There is a lot of work involved in being a successful student, and professors and the university will not allow you to fall behind without consequences. And if you do not like the snow and cold weather, you will not enjoy walking to class in the winter time.

I think the only type of person who shouldn't attend this school is one who is set on being in an urban setting. It's extremely suburban in Durham. The main street runs through campus, and the nearest decent-sized shopping area is about 10 miles towards the coast. So if you're looking for a big city or a city in general, this may not be the choice for you.

If you dont like to do things or if your not active, do not attend this school. There is so much going on, there are tons of organizations and groups you can join but the key word is to join them. At UNH, like any college, you will be wasting your time if you dont get involved.

The kind of person that should not attend this school is someone who is looking for a very serious academic school. UNH does offer a great education and has a lot to offer, but it does focus a lot on the social aspect of college too. (Things other than drinking such a sports, clubs etc.).

Someone who does not like big lecture classes should not attend this school. Everything else about UNH is perfect.

This University is a decent sized university, it is considered small compared to most but has a student body of about 15,000. This school is best for those who have or maintain a GPA or 3.1 or higher. Certain acedemic programs very in difficulty and more dificult to get into. It is best for a student who like to have fun, but will also take their acedemics seriously
