I wish I had known that majority of the people are not only white but white suburbans that don't accept other's that may look or act differently than thin, preppy people.

I wish I had known how difficult it would be for me to find storage for my things inbetween semesters because I live on the other side of the country. I also wish I had known just how cold it can get in New Hampshire!

Money will make or break your time at UNH. There are so many hidden fee's and if you have a "hold" on your account (money that you owe) you can't do anything until you have the hold removed.

Winters are cold...and kind of dark. I wish I knew that I didn't really want to be an art major...but I figured that one out! Also not to go to school with a boyfriend

I wish I had known more about what my major (Family Studies) was going to be like. I thought it was going to be more structured twards early childhood education, but it really centers around teaching students who are under five years old, which isn't really what I want to be doing. I was hoping for something more diverse.

I came to school very open minded. I didn't know what to expect. There's nothing that I know of now that I would have wanted to know then.

I wish I had known how much of a party school UNH really was. And I wish I had known what a party school really meant. I wish I had come visited before I actually attended. I wish I had understood what there was to do besides partying before attending. I wish I had gotten involved with the sober community before attneding. I wish I had know the academic drive and focus of the school was before I attended because it's not that driven or focused. I don't feel very challenged academically or socially.

I wish i would've known how hard it was going to be to get student loans and how expensive school is. Also that balancing was going to be a crucial skill in succeeding is college and without it I'd be lost.

There is not much I wish i knew before coming here, i mean i came to the orientation and they gave a great campus tour and all the details one would want to know.

I made a lot of discoveries while I was at UNH. The school was not my first choice, but I have found that I would not choose anywhere else. After spending my time in Hungary, I realized that they have so much to offer. Their engineering program is great and I really gain a lot from the classes and education system. I really am happy how they have so many other activities outside of class that allow you to stay involved with the campus and work towards building yourself as a person. The facilities on campus are in wonderful condition.

I wish I had known of the resources I have available to me at this school so I could have taken advantage of them immediately. It may be my own fault, but I feel a little out of the loop with everything that goes on and how things work at this school.

How hard it is to find parking.

I wish I had known about all of the activities that go on on campus. There are plenty of organizations and groups to get involved in. I wish I had gotten involved sooner.

I wish I had known about the lack of emphasis on research for undergraduates. There are some opportunities for undergrads to get involoved, but it requires a lot of time and work on the part of the student to find and pursue these opportunities. As a biochemistry major, I wish there were more readily available opportunities to participate in research projects.

The weather

The science professors are boring. Amazingly boring. It's almost always cold. And sometimes when there is a strong wind, you can smell the cows.

I was the perfect student. Great athlete, great student, president of my graduating class etc.

I knew a lot about this school before I went. There is nothing I wish I knew before....I've loved everything I have learned.

I wish i had know what i wanted to study because the advisors were not too helpful in selecting a major and if i had to do it again i would probablly chose something different.

I wish I had better study habits going into college. I wasn't really sure what to expect as a freshman and it showed on my first exam. I also wish I had known it wasn't as easy as I had hoped to switch my major to Nursing.

Honestly, I've had a great experience at UNH, and I don't feel like I was missing any piece of information before my arrival.

UNH is known for being a school obsessed with partying but really it is no different than any other school.

There is nothing that I wish I knew before I came to UNH. I live somewhat close and knew a lot about the campus already. Sometimes it is nice t be surprised by the new experience of college.

How cold and rainy the environment is. The high percentage of drinking and drugging at frats and sororities.

There are so many activites around campus that you forget that they are there. I would have liked to know to get involved in more than one so that I would experience something original.

How prevalent alcohol was at this school. If I had known that heavy drinking ran the social life of most students here, I never would've considered it.
