University of New Hampshire-Main Campus Top Questions

It's hard to explain...but it's perfect. The longer I've been at UNH the more people I've met. It's hard to go anywhere without running into someone. I love it! Food is great, spirit is amazing, transportation super! The only thing I would change would be the out-of-state tuition bill!

The best thing about UNH is that everything I ever need is on campus or a short bus ride away.

The best thing about my school is how safe and how clean the campus and dorms are. I have been to many schools that are filthy and you can't even get around the campus without someone to walk with you. I feel that is not something any wants to deal with.

I think the size. A big school offers so many opportunities. They are allowing me to go abroad to Australia next semester so easily.

When I look around my campus, there is always adventure in store. I know that if I look on a flier somewhere, it will list about ten events that I am interested in going to on or off-campus. I love that there is a mix of athletes, earthy-crunchy people, musicians, artists, and scientists at school and that they can come together, be placed into a dorm together, and love the experience. The diversity of experience and interest is rich at UNH.

the best thing about it is the social environment. people are willing to socially engage and work together. my friendships from college have been very close and academically engaging. i've had countless discussions about everything from music to philosophy. the campus is also large enough to maintain very large social environment that never feels cramped or limited. there are so many extracurricular activities that there is always something for someone.

The best thing about the University of New Hampshire is its location. You have everything you could possible want surrounding you. The ocean is only a fifteen minute drive from campus, or you can be in the mountains after a forty-five minute drive depending on what you are looking for that day. It is located in a beautiful region surrounded by trees and local parks and forests. It is not in a big city by any means, but there is still easy access to Boston and Portland, Maine whenever you want.

The natural environment

They best thing is the student involvement. Everyone watches Football and Hockey, we have great concerts and shows such as Dane Cook and Snoop Dogg. There is always something to do whether it be on campus, or head up to Conway for skiing, or over to the beach to swim. Also, Portsmouth is close by and has great shopping and an amazing night life.

The best thing about UNH is probably the atmosphere. For the most part, everyone really does try to get along with everyone else. There's always something to do and you'll always find some really cool people who like what you like.

The people. The people i have met at school have been really nice and really helpful. these are some tough time and hard transition years its nice to know that there are nice people there to help you out

I really like that UNH provides many different classes to choose from.

The best thing about my school would be the variety of subjects to major and minor in. The University of New Hampshire has a wide variety of subjects to explore and is very liberal. It is very career oriented and provides alot of oppurtunities to explore different topics and career choices.

Everything is perfect from the professors to the interraction with the students.

The best thing about my school is the people. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and kind. There is never a dull moment at UNH and that is because of its energetic fun loving community. There is something that this school for everyone, and it is a truly wonderful place to live and work.

The best thing about the University of New Hampshire, is the campus, and campus life. The campus is big and the archetecture is beautiful. The nightlife is always lively. There are plenty of things to do around campus wheather its sports, music, arts n crafts or just walkin around. The campus is what draws in most students.

Dispite the lack of ethnic diversity, there is diversity among the student body in terms of interests and socio-economic status.

It is so easy to meet so many great people. The school is huge so there is always someone new to meet and anyone could find a place to fit in.

Social Life and Atmosphere

The b est thing about the University of New Hampshire is its location. Not only is it providing an education to its students, but the campus and the surrounding area allow the Universities students to experience the college life on a whole other level. What I mean by this, is that 30 minutes away there is the beach and the Atlantic Ocean, while at the sametime there are the White Mountains just an hour to the North. So students at UNH have two contrasting environments at their finger tips whenever they want to make use of them.
