VCU really has something for everybody. I will say that if you are looking for an easy time parking, football, or an overwhelming fraternity scene, Richmond is not for you. Also, if you are looking for an area where you can escape any sign of your college by getting off of the designated "campus" area, don't come to VCU.

The type of person who should not attend this school is the type of person that embodies a couple characteristics. A person who does not like a large campus, a person who does not like urban campus or a person who feels intimidated by large class rooms. However, I think anyone who puts the work in could succeed going to Virginia Commenwealth University.

Anyone not willing to have an open mind about the world around him or her should not attend this school. VCU will open your eyes to a whole new world of reality that you will not experience in any other place. The diversity among its student population is beautifuly extreme. VCU offers so many different opportunities for social involvement and recreation to its students. If someone were to attend this school with a permenantly closed mind, he or she would be wasting his or her money on amenities and oppotrunities he or she won't fully take advandage of.

Students from all different cultures and backgrounds attend this school which creates an environment in which students are constantly teaching others new things. Someone like me who is confused with them selves should not go here from my experience. If they try to get through this school they'll leave crying. If that future student is solid in what they want to focus on then yes go here. But If you can't tell what you want to do, figure it out at a smaller and cheaper college first.
