This award is for U.S. female sophomore and junior students of African descent who are enrolled full time in an English, literature, journalism or related area of study at a Historically Black college or university. This scholarship is open to American Indian, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian students who reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, or Washington. Students must be planning to major in business, engineering, education, math, medicine, health administration, natural/physical sciences, or technology.
