The most frustrating aspect of Iowa State University is that the competition is great. There are many students that want to succeed in their desired major but there is little room for success. Therefore, only the top qualified students continue to peruse their desired careers. Competition is good for the university but some limits are too great for many to reach. The students that are capable of attaining such feats constantly raise the bar higher and make it difficult for the rest to maintain a good academic standing with the university.
