I love Ivy Tech and would recommend it to anyone wanting to go! The professors are always there to help and answer questions whenever you need. They provide a clean and safe environment to be in when you are there! I am very happy that I chose to attend Ivy Tech and not somewhere else.

It's an overall amazing college. The teachers are able to help students who are having trouble maintaining a grade within a class. The students are very kind and energetic. The college helps out veterans and returning students in search for a degree. The parking spots are very cheap. Advisors are very helpful when it comes to achieving the student's goal. All in all, Ivy Tech is a 10/10.

I believe that Ivy Tech gives working adults an affordable opportunity to continue their education and eventually transfer or expand their current knowledge. I have encountered excellent professors who genuinely care about their students and help in any way they can, and I have encountered professors who don't seem like they have it all together. Ivy Tech has many different clubs and activities to join while still giving you a manageable schedule. Overall, I think Ivy Tech is a good choice for those who want to save a little money on the first couple years of college or those who only want an Associate's or certificate.

Ivy Tech is a really convenient school for people who don’t want to go to the big university colleges like IU, Ball State, or Purdue. I would highly recommend it to people who aren’t interested in the big colleges and just want to get their degree over with. It also saves a lot of money. For the most part they have great instructors. They could improve on making some of the campuses bigger, and bigger variety of food to choose from on campus for those that have to stay all day.

Ivy Tech Community College is a good place to start out your college career. The class sizes are small and your professors are easy to reach and they have office hours you can attend if you need help with something. I would recommend to start out at community college to save money in the long run and then transfer if someone wishes to.

I attend the South bend campus and I always feel on edge. It is located in down town south bend which is know for being filled with crime. I think the professors are really good though. They are willing to help you with everything. I think for a two year institution ivy tech is a decent school.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I love the flexibility that it allows. I can take classes when I want, either on campus or online. There’s even the option to do both. I prefer on campus because I like the face to face way of learning. And I love that I can go to school when I want and still be able to work.

I started off at Ivy Tech when I lived in Evansville. It was alright, I attended classes on campus, however the advising staff wasn't great. I never really knew what I needed to do to complete my degree, and I was always told different things from different staff. The staff at the campus in Indianapolis are the same- I was told that I was done with my degree by one member of staff, then by another that I had another year a half left.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

This was my first experience at a community college and I have to say I was quite impressed. It was the same level of difficulty as full blown universities that I have attended in the past. I can honestly say that I learned a lot and it was a very positive experience. I have to admit that having only gone to universities in the past, I was biased towards community colleges. After my experience there later in life as an adult, I would definitely recommend this avenue of education for all students. As a jaded adult, I now say save your money and get at least certain classes done at a community college. There is no shame in attending!
