I started off at Keene State College as a transfer student. I was transferring from Manchester Community College to be with my boyfriend. The transfer process was super easy and all of the staff were super kind to me, even giving me extra scholarship money when I needed assistance. So if you're low on money, consider this school. It's not the cheapest but they will help you financially.
Keene State College is a wondrous, accepting public school to get an education from. Since it is smaller, students are able to connect and get the attention that they may need from their professors. They are dedicated to the success of their students. With over 40 areas of study, different sport teams, and student organizations, students are able to participate and get involved. The environment that downtown Keene offers is open to students, residents, and visitors. Keene is not just a college, it's home.
Keene State is a quaint small school in the heart of Keene NH. The school and area is beautiful especially in the fall. The faculty and staff are more than willing to work with students. The class room sizes are small, so students are able to have personal connections to professors as well. The opportunities with clubs and organizations are endless and overall the community is very close knit. Overall the school is a great choice in New England!
It's a great school

Good schooling and great friends. I would definatly not transfer it was the best choice school for me.
Binge dringking, smmoking, partying until people passout, and lazy students!
The classmates at Keene State College are great, worldly, beautiful and accepting people that have a lot to offer the world, and with the opportunity of a great education from Keene State College, these people will do many great things.
its teaching program.
I chose Keene State College because they have a fresh new start to an Architecture program, whereas my other choices for schools didn't have as much or any choice for architecture programs. The Architecture program here, I think, is pretty good. It has a lot of potential to grow over the years and I am glad to be apart of its program.
I believe the best thing about Keene State College is the small class sizes. I'm not just a number to my professors, I'm a living, breathing person, who they've had the opportunity to get to know and genunienly care about.
Keene is a friendly party school, which appeals to students who didn't do well in highschool.
Well I knew this but you don't really know it until it happens to you that they do not guarantee upperclassman (not freshman) housing. So if you are a freshman you are fine but it you are not then you better cross your fingers. That you were not required to have an internship as a psychology major and you should!!!! I learned more my first year working in the field then I ever did in four years at school.
Apathetic students.
People who just want to dick around and party. There's a lot of drinking, but a pretty big emphasis on schoolwork. How much work you really have to do depends on your major.
The kind of people that should attend Keene State College should be the ones that want a valuable education from a school that is not crowded but not tiny either. They should also expect some one-on-one time with professors, an excellent range of on-campus employments, over 100 clubs and intramurals, and an all-around good time. If they want to have a memorable but hard working and well worth college experience, Keene State College is the place to be.
I tell them how impressed I am with the professors. They are very helpful and strive to get to know all their students on a first name basis.
The academics in this school, are excellent in my opinion. There are so many interesting classes to choose from and the teachers are not too easy but not too hard when it comes to grading your work. I don't feel too overwhelmed with work, and if I am it would only be a little bit. Everyday, I surprise myself with how much I have achieved academically. Before college, I felt that I wouldn't be able to survive the workload, but thanks to all the academic support, I no longer have that worry.
There isn't anything I'd say is the MOST popular. But when people are involved in things they are really involved and love it 100%.
that all we do is party, and that's not accurate
I love my college and all it has to offer
The library. There are plenty of work spaces here, including tables, desks/cubicles, couches, and private study rooms. Basically everything you need to study is available here. They have computers, printers, copiers, all the books you need, even a coffee machine!
