It is very great community college that has an appealing campus and wonderful staff. The teachers are very nice and helpful when it comes to completing any work. If students decide to not go on the campus and do online learning, the system to complete homework and tests is easy to navigate through.
I enjoy the campus life so much. PHSC's class size is just right and the professors are extremely helpful and willing to assist you in your needs. There are also plenty of recourses that are available to every student including the resource center, the library, and even online tutoring.
This college has the worst advising I have ever seen. I have been struggling for years at this place and it takes me two months to find one person to help me with a single issue. My high school was more put together and it makes me upset to have to talk and email 17 different advisors to help me with a single issue (which is what I had to do) and I still was not able to get into some of the classes I needed and get my FAFSA through. I had to do some things multiple times because advisors were looking in the wrong area. For example, I needed to fill out a dynamic form and they said that they couldn't find it. So I completed it two more times for them to finally find the first one I completed. This took one week to fix and my FAFSA issues took two months to figure out when I had completed it in October eight months before.
This is an amazing school. I am currently a Practical Nursing student, and I must say that I could not be more proud to be a student at Pasco-Hernando State College. The faculty are always available to help the students succeed and answer any questions that they may have. The faculty of any school are extremely important because if there is compassion, and the willingness to teach, then students respond to them. I feel that if I have an instructor who takes the time after class to answer my questions, or re-teach me a part of the lecture that I did not understand, then my interest to learn grows. Some do not understand how vital the faculty are to an institution. Educators who truly take the time to find other ways to help someone learn the material are making an impact on the students. Why is this? It is because they care, and students feed off of that.

So of the Professors do not use the schools website to communicate with students. This is a good tool that the school has to it is bad that they do not choose to use it.

I brag about the ability to work full time and still attend classes, because my school has night courses I am able to attend!
There is no reason for any student to not attend Pasco-Hernando Community College. Speaking from experience, it offers high school students the ability to take advantage of duel enrollment, which is completely cost-free and a wonderful opportunity to gain an upperhand in completing an Associate's program at a much faster date than the traditional two years. In addition, this community college offers a wide range of scholarships, awards, and grants so students of any financial situation may afford an education. The brilliant educators at this school go to great lengths to communicate the material to their students.
