I enjoy the school, staff and Sports as well as the scenery around the school.

The school is a mess. I am attending the expedite nursing program, it is very disorganized. It does not worth the high cost of tuition. The management is poor, and there is less support for students. On certain occasion professors are not coming to the class, leaving the student in limbo.

makayla - 08/05/2020

Shenandoah University is a beautiful campus. The school has a family based environment. It's one of the most diverse colleges i have had the opportunity to visit. I am happy i am a freshman starting there this year. I have a feeling this school most definitely will have a big impact on my life from this point forward.

I'm not an alumnus of Shenandoah University but have chosen to support SU because it has meant so much in enhancing the quality of life in our area. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with the students. They are very motivated to not only succeed in their careers but also give back to the world. Students support each other as members of a community of caring. After four years here students really hit their stride and become very self confident. SU is a fine school that keeps getting better. All departments are good but the health professions and conservatory are outstanding and in many ways cutting edge. The campus is beautiful and Winchester as well as the Shenandoah Valley have a lot to offer. There is even a campus right on the Shenandoah River.

Shenandoah University FAQS

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Shenandoah University is 88%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If i could talk to myself as a High school Senior, i would tell myself to NOT pocrastinate. Deadlines are very important and if you dont make it, you might not get what you want during the whole getting-into-college process. Giving yourself lots of time before a deadline is crucial. For example, FAFSA application, Scholarship Deadlines, College Application Deadlines and many more. I know I was organized through this whole process but i know i could have done it a little better. Having a planner is good and having a section to keep all important phone numbers. Keeping organized is Key.

  12. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

Shenandoah provides many opportunities for the students that most schools do not. They have many programs that take you outside of the country to get a better understanding of how your field of study really makes a difference. Every person is able to make a difference and I feel that Shenandoah gives you the opportunity to discover that for yourself. The school also has a strong focus on a gobal awarness. They get the students invovled with out of the country activities so we have that exposure to diversity.
