High School of Fashion -1997 Today will be a moment of reflection for me as I realize that in a few months I will be graduating from High School. Wow time has flown by so fast I?m so excited to start college at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The Best thing for me to do right now is to start a five year plan for graduating from F.I.T. My first plan is to have an internship lined up with a major fashion house so I can have a job lined up by the time I graduate. Also if I maintain a high GPA I can be eligible to study abroad and live in Europe for a few semesters. By the time I graduate I want to be able to at least start saving some money to invest in my own business. Another idea I have is to set up my own website and build up a strong clientele to gain expansion worldwide. My plan is to develop women?s jeans with signature fit, quality and cut that last a lifetime. I?m so happy to be pursuing my dreams and a high fashion designer is my desire.

I would tell my self, to presue my complete undergraduate degree. Because there are ample ways to gather money to complete an undergraduate degree and that consentrationing on learning to improve writting skills- than start researching scholarship sources to apply for a chance to compeat scholastic studies. The knowledge I would convay to my younger self would be where to start ( In my earlier time there would have been no internet) with large corperations and write for scholarship information on applications. Campus Discovery LLC. ,would one of the first on my list. Write, recieve, and apply fully to such corperations as Campus Discovery and back up and try the next till I reached my goal in scholarships. Of coarse this site on the web was located in my search and this in a lot of ways is much easier in process then the earlier time I came from. Can't get lazy in writing and the compition is so much greater. So thank you for the oppertunity to compete and apply David Murzynski Sr. [email protected]

As a high school senior I'd tell myself that sports aren't important as most make them out to be, unless you are participating in them. Being that I'm not, yes school spirit and commitment is important, but what's most important is getting the best education as possible. It's not important where my classmates are applying and getting accepted; that college/ university suits them, what matters is whats best for me. I don't need huge auditorium classes but rather smaller one-on-one classes. This way I'll have more interaction with the professor and have a better change at making better grades in the class. Having a social life bring good balance to school, after all there is a whole other side of education called life; but partying is not a priority in school. If anything binge drinking partying, drugs, and late nights all set you back from what your main focus should be: your future. Afterall we are paying a pretty penny for these classes and books so take pride in what your learning and own it.
