Most are counting down the days until Spring Break, but other major priorities, such as midterms and finalizing college plans for the summer or fall, are looming. If you’re in the latter category and wondering how you’re going to cover your upcoming tuition bill, we have some good news — we found plenty of scholarships with deadlines this month that could definitely help you out. So, take a look at this sample list we’ve put together and start applying! 1. A Nurse I Am Scholarship This $2,000 scholarship is available to nursing students enrolled in an accredited LVN/LPN, RN degree (ADN or BSN), diploma, or RN-to-BSN program. A total of ten awards are available. The deadline to apply is March 1. 2. Digital Marketing Scholarship Undergraduate students pursuing marketing, advertising, and/or public relations careers are eligible to apply for this $500 scholarship. One award is available. Students must have a 2.5 GPA or higher, and apply by March 1. 3. Chegg $1,000 Monthly Scholarship This fun and easy scholarship (it literally takes less than 5 minutes!) is open to high school students. Best of all, there’s one $1,000 winner every month! The next deadline is March 2. 4. Frame My Future Scholarship Contest High school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students are all eligible to participate in this $1,000 photo contest. Five winners will be chosen from entries received by March 3. 5. #nofilter Scholarship Slam This easy poetry contest is open to students 25 years of age and younger. Any topic is acceptable. Poems must be submitted by March 6. 6. Kohl’s Kids Who Care Program Students who are between the ages of 6 and 18 may compete for more than 190 scholarships offered through this program. Students must have completed significant volunteer work over the last 12 months. Regional winners (180) will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Ten regional winners will also be designated as National Finalists and receive an additional $10,000 each. Nominations must be submitted by March 13. 7. Anthem Essay Contest This essay contest offers 236 awards ranging in value from $50 to $2,000. Students in grades 8 through 10 are eligible to apply. Submissions must be received no later than March 20. 8. Superpower Scholarship Superhero or villain? The decision could be worth $2,500. Students 13 or older are eligible to apply. Just get those essays in before March 31. 9. BigFish.com Online Games Scholarship High school seniors and undergraduate students may apply for this $2,500 scholarship. One scholarship is available. Students must apply no later than March 31. 10. Unigo $10,000 Scholarship Racist, ageist, sexist … don’t be an IST. Enter our Resist the IST: Defy Stereotypes Scholarship and you could walk away with $10,000! There are two scholarships available to students 14 and older. The deadline to enter is March 31.
