10 Groundhog Day Scholarships Posted byUnigo Staff May 29, 2015May 2, 2023 By tamara In case you didn’t know, today is Groundhog Day. Punxsutawney Phil will be making his annual appearance and letting the world know whether we will be in for more cold weather or an early spring. Let’s hope it’s the latter. But, “Groundhog Day” is also one of my favorite Bill Murray movies. Its premise is fairly simple; Phil Connors (played by Bill Murray) is sent to cover the Groundhog Day festivities at Gobbler’s Knob (PA), but he gets stuck in a never-ending replay of the day. Of course, hilarity ensues as he tries various ways to change the outcome until he finally gets it right. I know a few scholarships that are just like the movie.
