The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) provides scholarships and support to members of the Latino community pursuing college degrees. The HSF was founded in 1975. It has provided over $580 million in funds to Latino students, parents and alumni. The mission of the scholarship fund: “To empower Latino families with the knowledge and resources to complete a higher education.” The Hispanic Scholarship Fund provides more than scholarships, though. HSF provides support throughout the college application process, during school, and throughout students’ lifetimes. Up to $15,000 October 15 La Unidad Latina DREAM Scholarship They must also be currently enrolled in a master’s or bachelor’s program and maintain at least a 2.8 GPA. $1,000 October 22 Scholarships for Latinas/Latino Women Scholarship Amount Deadline Chicana/Lantina Foundation (Northern California) Chicana/Latina woman living in Northern California and plan to attend an accredited college or grad school in the area $1,500 March 31 Sallie Mae First in My Family Scholarship Applicants must be the first in their family to go for an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Up to $5,000 April 15 Lubbock Hispanic Association of Women Open to Hispanic women enrolled or seeking enrollment in a school or higher learning. $1,000 April 21 Ann Seki Memorial Scholarship The Ann Seki Memorial Scholarship requires a 3.3 GPA and a concentration in civil, chemical, electrical, facilities, mechanical, or petroleum engineering. Up to $10,000 April 30 Lambda Theta Nu Sorority Latina For female graduating high school seniors of Hispanic heritage enrolling in 4-year college.
