FEATURED: Cappex Easy College Money Scholarship

Award: $1,000
Deadline: Last day of every month
Eligibility: U.S. citizens in high school or college or who plan to enroll within 12 months.
How to apply: Sign up on the scholarship provider's website. That's it.

Sara and Max Goldsammler Scholarship

Awards: $300, $500, or $1,000
Deadline: 8/10/16
Eligibility: Jewish U.S. citizens who are in high school or are college undergrads.
How to apply: In 500 to 1,000 words, describe how you've demonstrated leadership ability both in and out of school.

Masergy STEM Scholarship Program

Award: $5,000
Deadline: 8/15/16
Eligibility: U.S. citizens who are college undergrads majoring in a STEM field.
How to apply: Submit an essay of 1,000 words or less about your interest in STEM fields, your future plans, and how you'll help to evolve science and technology after graduation, your thoughts on emerging technologies, and how you've arrived at where you are today.

Rapid Formations Entrepreneur Scholarship Programme

Award: £500 (approximately $750)
Deadline: 8/26/16
Eligibility: U.S. or U.K. college undergrads or grad students.
How to apply: Write an 800-word essay about how a scholarship could help you develop your entrepreneurial idea.

AFSA Second Chance Scholarship

Awards: $1,000 (five awards)
Deadline: 8/26/16
Eligibility: U.S. citizens and legal residents with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
How to apply: Submit a quick form, read an article, and take a short open-book quiz about fire safety.

Clubs of America Scholarship Award for Career Success

Award: $1,000
Deadline: 8/31/16
Eligibility: U.S. undergrads with 3.0 or higher GPA.
How to apply: Write an essay of 600 words or more about how your education will help in your career path.

Lexington Law Scholarship Award

Award: $5,000
Deadline: 8/31/16
Eligibility: Undergrad or grad students at U.S. schools with 2.5 or higher GPA.

Rand Marketing Web Design Scholarship

Award: $1,000

ARTBA Student Transportation Video Contest

Eligibility: U.S. students of all ages.
How to apply: Submit a 2- to 4-minute video on American transportation.

Unigo Make Me Laugh Scholarship

Award: $1,500
Deadline: 8/31/16
Eligibility: U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents 13 years or older.
How to apply: In 250 words or less, describe an incident in your life — funny or embarrassing, fact or fiction — and make us laugh!
