Additional Information: This award is funded by the State of Colorado and is available to qualified students with documented financial need. Financial need is determined by using the student's Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The EFC is calculated by the U.S. Department of Education using information provided on the FAFSA. Priority is given to students with the most financial need as follows: Level 1: Students with the Least Ability to Pay Students with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) between zero and $7,493 Level 2: Students with Documented Need and Moderate Ability to Pay Students with an EFC that is $7,493 and 200% ($9,990) of that required for the minimum Pell grant award. Level 3: Students with Documented Need and Average Ability to Pay: All other students who demonstrate financial need as calculated by the federal methodology. Students seeking professional degrees in theology are not eligible.

Award Amount: The amount ranges from $500 to $5,000 annually, and determined based on the student's financial need. Awards are not automatically renewable, recipients may re-apply each year.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,354.
