Up to $7,875 annually, and cannot exceed the student's calculated financial need, as determined by the federal need analysis formula. Awards are offered on an annual basis an may be renewable. Students must file a FAFSA each academic year and continue to demonstrate financial need.

The Connecticut Independent College Student Grant Program (CICSG) is a state program established to provide grants to state residents enrolled as full-time or part-time matriculated students in undergraduate degree-granting programs at independent colleges and universities in Connecticut. Eligible students demonstrate substantial financial need, as determined by the federal need analysis formula. Recipients must exhibit some level of financial need and are selected according to each institution's own financial aid packaging policy.
