Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. All international students who apply for admission are considered for an award.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

  4. Must be a high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.

Description: Entering freshmen planning enroll full time at the University of Evansville in Indiana are eligible for this award. All international students who apply to the University of Evansville are considered for a scholarship.

Additional Information: The University of Evansville offers financial assistance to international students who are exceptionally strong academically. Unfortunately, the university is unable to offer full scholarships. Because each applicant must be able to pay for much of his/her education, he/she will need to have sufficient financial resources to supplement the scholarship. Need-based financial aid is not offered.

Award Amount: $11,000 to $20,000 annually, renewable for up to three years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $60,000.

There is not a separate application for this award. All international students who apply to the University of Evansville are considered for a scholarship. Applications for admission, as well as financial information forms required for all international students, are available on the University of Evansville website. In addition to the completed application for admission, the student must submit a $35.00 application fee, a passport-sized photo, official TOEFL score report, official copies of all transcripts, a letter of recommendation addressing the student's academic and personal strengths, and a financial information form signed by the student's sponsor and stamped by his/her bank. A current bank statement confirming adequate financial resources to support the student for a minimum of one academic year must be included with the financial information form. This is necessary to obtain a student visa. All records should be in English. Records in other languages must have copies of the originals attached with translations. Deadline dates for admissions are June 1 for the fall semester and Nov. 1 for the spring semester. Applications and supporting materials must be received by one of the two deadlines.
