In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be between the ages of 15-19.
  2. Must Be 4-H member/recent alum of any type of 4-H program in the U.S.

Description: Through life-changing 4 H programs, nearly six million kids and teens have taken on critical societal issues, such as addressing community health inequities, engaging in civil discourse, and advocating for equity and inclusion for all.

Application requirements for the 4-H Youth in Action are:

  • No application requirements for this scholarship
Additional Information: Complete and submit the online application found at 4-H.org/YouthInAction. Applications will open on January 6 and should be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday, March 29. You will need to submit (1) general information and eligibility requirements, (2) short answer questions, (3) a 60-second video, and (4) photos that demonstrate your work in the 4-H pillar and a headshot.

Award Amount: $5000 per award  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.
