Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation
$1,000 annually, non-renewable.
One scholarship is awarded each year.
The Brea Little Moore Memorial Scholarship is provided annually in memory of Brea Little Moore, a Holliday Texas resident who was diagnosed with cancer shortly after graduating from colllege. Despite her declining health, Brea was able to contribute back to the community as a special education aide for middle school and high school students in the Holliday, Texas Independent School District. The scholarship is administered annually through the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation, and seeks to reward local area high school students who show a combination of academic achievement and unmet financial need. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be current high school seniors in Holliday, Texas and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Applicants may plan to attend any accredited college or university in the United States and must be planning to major in social work, psychology, sociology, special education, criminal justice, or counseling.
The Brea Little Moore Memorial Scholarship has closed for 2019 but the deadline is expected to remain the same in 2020. Please check back in January when applications are scheduled to become available ... sign up for full scholarship deadline information.
