In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. You are (or will be) an undergraduate student pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degree.
  2. You are at least 17 years of age

Description: As dedicated advocates for victims of serious injuries, our Fort Lauderdale personal injury lawyers are passionate about changing the world for the better and making positive contributions through creative approaches and innovative solutions. This appreciation has led us to establish our biannual award, The Law Offices of John D. Ameen Changing The World Scholarship. Our firm recognizes students who share our commitment to innovation and positive change by offering a $1,000 award each semester to STEM majors throughout the United States. Science, technology, engineering, and math have helped to enhance the legal profession, and we hope this scholarship will help to promote STEM students’ academic careers for years to come.
