Number of Awards & Eligibility: Five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must enroll full time.
  4. Must be a non-traditional student who postponed the pursuit of a college degree after high school.
  5. Must be a current undergraduate college student pursuing an associate or bachelors degree,
  6. Must major in nursing.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. non-traditional students who are enrolled full time in an undergraduate nursing program are eligible for this award.

Application requirements for the Barbara Rhomberg Excellence in Nursing Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • Enrollment verif.
Additional Information: Scholarship awards will be announced on Sept. 30.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

Applications are available online from the B4 Brands website and are accepted beginning March 1. In addition to the completed application, students must submit two letters of recommendation, a 500-word essay on the topics listed within the application, and an enrollment verification form. Applications must be postmarked by March 31.
