Number of Awards & Eligibility: Ten awards offered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior.
  2. Must be between the ages 16 and 19 at the time of the application.
  3. Must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA at the time of application.

Description: The Corvias Foundation was created to help military-connected students, both the children and spouses of service members, reach their educational goals and dreams. They work to boost access to educational, internship, mentoring, and volunteer opportunities. Through the years, scholarships from $5,000 to $50,000 were awarded.

Application requirements for the Corvias Foundation Military Dependent Children Scholarship are:

Additional Information: An independent selection committee will evaluate the applications and select the recipients considering: • Financial need • Community involvement • Essay and short answer content • Academic achievements and records Decisions of the selection committees are final and are not subject to appeal. No application feedback will be given. 10 scholarships will be awarded annually. Awards will be in the amount of up to $50,000 per student, payable at a maximum of $12,500 per year for four consecutive years. Recipients must meet the initial eligibility requirements as outlined in the application and responsibilities outlined as part of the Foundation’s policies and procedures. Applicants should also be a child of an active-duty Service Member stationed at one of the following U.S. Military installations at the time of application or application due date: o Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland o Edwards Air Force Base, California o Eglin Air Force Base, Florida o Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska o Fort Bragg, North Carolina o Fort Meade, Maryland o Fort Polk, Louisiana o Fort Riley, Kansas o Fort Rucker, Alabama o Fort Sill, Oklahoma o Hurlburt Field, Florida o McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas o Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina

Award Amount: Up to $50,000 scholarships offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500,000.
