  1. Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher
  2. Must be enrolled in, and attending, classes earning a minimum of twelve credits in the semester of application

Description: Khyentse Foundation Buddhist Studies Scholarships support individuals who wish to study the dharma. KF accepts applications from students, practitioners, and scholars from all traditions, schools, and sects of Buddhism. These scholarships fund tuition or other expenses related to one’s studies. Applicants for this scholarship are usually working toward an BA, MA, or MPhil degree, or are in a certificate program.

Additional Information: Buddhist Studies Scholarships are open to the public and aim to support students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a Buddhist Studies program. Khyentse Foundation scholarships are awarded for one-year terms. Scholarship recipients may apply each year for continuing support for longer-term studies.

Award Amount: Each applicant will receive between US$500 to $3,000 depending on the program  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
