What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Before I came to college, I was the typical high school senior. I had a terrible case of senoritis and treated my family with lack of care and understanding. I fought long and hard with my mother, father and siblings. I was a terror to be around because I felt lilke I knew everything. I have since reverted back to my old ways, what I was before the spell of senoritis took over. I am now more positive than ever and maintain spectacula relationships with all members of my family. I wish tha I could go back and treat my family better that one year. It made them miserable and I coudn't even see it I wsa blind to thedamage I was doing and I am so grateful that it was not permanent.

A major difference that our school has is underground tunnels that link most of the buildings and dorms together. Nazareth College is located where the winters are long and cold. Having these underground tunnels help making it to class easier. Another difference is the size of the campus and the size of the classes are very unique. The campus is very small and quant. The classes are the same way. Each teacher knows you'r strength and weaknesses as well as who you are. I believe that this is important to know when looking at a college.

A student who's interested in attending Nazareth should want to feel very at home. The small size of Nazareth lends it an almost small town feel where it is quite common to encounter the same classmates and professors in multiple capacities on campus. The majority of students there are studious and focused on their education but always willing to have a good time as well. There is never a dull moment on campus and very few people unhappy to be there.

I love every single moment of my college life here. I think Naz deserves more popularity than it has now.
The class size is small, so all professors know us by name. My professors are amazing. They're really inspirational, and sometimes they make boring stuffs become so interesting. Every single person, faculty and staff, is so friendly and helpful, they will try their best to help you.
The school facilities are great. You have everything accessible on campus. Personally, I am one of the people who lives inside the "Naz Bubble", which means you just spend your whole time on campus and don't even need to go outside. The best thing is our Arts Center. Students with Naz ID can watch FREE performances every week, some are student production, some are professional pieces of artists, bands and companies from Rochester area, somewhere in the US or even foreign artists. Imagine you can go watch some $50 performances for free on every weekend!
The campus is beautiful. Yeah, it's small, but still amazing. And we have tons of clubs and activities for you to join. As far as I remember, activities happen every single day. We even have the "Left-handed Club", and a Harry Potter club named "Ministry of Magic"! Nothing is impossible here at Naz.
The school officials really spend time listening to students' concerns, and they respond quickly. The Undergraduate Association also does a great job in connecting between students and school officials.
Generally, I love my school, and I think every of my friends loves Naz too.

One thing that I really wish I could have known was how to live with someone who is a stranger, with totally different views and experiences in many aspects of life in general, and in addition to that, I wish I had really known how few guys there are on campus because we are totally outnumbered by females 4:1, which may seem like a great thing at first, but not only is it just plain annoying, it is easier to just avoid them because otherwise they won't leave me alone.

Nazareth is a great school, both socially and academically. I truly enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the campus. Additionally, I am thrilled students help one another and do not compete against each other.
Read all 5 answers What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
Nazareth has the appearance of an "uppity," ralph-lauren, jcrew only, equestrian team, organic lettuce type of student. However, although these students exist, they are far from the majority. In fact, it's hard to say if Nazareth has a "majority" student. Nazareth is filled with pockets of different types of students: music nerds, athletes, mathletes, party girls...everything you can think of. Everyone eventually finds their niche at Naz.

All the professors know you by name, and they would love to have you stop by their offices to ask any question or discuss anything about the classes. They are very passionate about the classes that they teach, and they really care about how you perform in class and what you learn from the class.
In most of my class, class participation is very common. We have great intellectual discussions between students and students, students and professors, in class and outside of class. I think students are competitive. They really spend time studying. The academic requirements are really challenging if you want to have a good report card. There're so many interesting classes that you want to take, and sometimes you just wish that you have enough time to study everything you want.
Our favorite location is the library. There are always somebody studying in the library, no matter if it's 12am or 12pm. It's such a great place to really get focus on your assignments and intellectual pursuit.

I will never forget the day that a bunch of friends and I went dancing in the rain. It was a beautiful afternoon and there were a lot of students outside doing homework and soaking up the sun. That night, it poured rain the hardest I have ever seen. Before I knew it, there were at least 20 of us who all took off our shoes and just ran around campus in the rain. It was so much fun!
