I wish I would have realized earlier on in my life, it is ok to go to college in your late twenties, thirties, or later. Procrastination gets you no where, and the earlier one gets an educaton the better their life can be. Furthermore, I wasnt aware older people can receive financial aid and grants to assist them with their degrees and UoP let me know that anyone can get aid, if they qualify, regardless of age.

Bef ore I came to this school, I wish I had known more about financial aid and the admissions process. It was so easy to talk with a representative and get started. I should have done it a year ago. I went to a community college near my home and transfered all my credits over to Axia college (online campus). I wish I knew more about fiancial aid instead of just getting student loans. I knew I was eligible for grants and scholarships; however, I was not sure how what the process was.

I wish I knew how easy the transition would have been to come back to get my higher education as a working adult. I would have returned sooner and not have waited so long to begin the process of achieving my bachelors degree. If I had known I would be meeting the people I have met from students to faculty I would have started back sooner. If I knew the amount of support I have received from financial guidance to academic guidance I would have returned sooner.

I wish I had learned about this school earlier. Online schools are a great alternative instead of going to a tradfitional college. I also wish I had known exaclty what direction I wanted to take in life. It is better to leave high school and enter college knowing what career field you want to go into. Changing majors in the middle of your college career wastes time and money. The faster you get out of college and find a job the faster you can start paying off those college expenses.

I wish that I knew that one day I would be back in school so I would have completed college right out of high school. My father died in my senior year and I dropped out of college my freshman year to try and help my mother make the bills. If I knew that I would be back in school at 30 years old I would have completed it then.

My enrollment counselor gave me plenty of information about th school process, so I do not feel like tere was anything hidden from me. Whe I tarted I felt confident that I have enough nformation to proceed with my studies.

the cost of tuition

I wish I had known more about how distance learning works and also that the cost of tuition includes my books. I would have started this program sooner. Although still expensive it is definetly a positive that the price that took my breath away included the cost of my books.

One of the biggest things that I wish I would of known before I came to this school is more about the degree program. I did not realize that I could change my courses around since it is an online college and I am currently enrolled in a class that I am not interested in at all. I have learned from experience that some of the classes can be changed. I will know for next time.

I wish I would have taken the time to get my transcripts from the other colleges I attended. That way I knew upfront what classes I needed and how long it would take me to obtain my degree.

I wish I would have known that college was going to be a lot tougher than high school. I also wish I would have known that some of the councelors don't like to call you back on important matters. University of Phoenix is a good school overall and I like everything about it except the fact that my councelor doesn't always call me back.

I never realized I could complete a masters program online. Had I known this, I would have started my education a lot sooner. I was also intimidated by the financial aid process. Even if I have to pay every penny back, it would have been worth to start my education years ago instead of waiting until my career in health insurance is in jeopardy.

The amount of help from the professors and the help that I get from my acedemic people. If I would have known that I would have been assisted all along, I would have done this sooner.

I wish I would have known how hard it was going to be becuase I felt that online school would be easy but it actually has made me work herder knwoing that I can not just give an excuse to the teacher why I didi not do my work. I feel that thing I did not know about the school helped me out in the long run.

I wish that I would have known how easy it was to sign up! This school offers every degree that you could possibly hope to obtain. When you begin the process of signing up for information and give your phone number you will receive a call for a certified counselor within minutes. The counselors at this school are very personable and helpful, as well as graduates themselves. My counselor was able to help me with the choice of degree within minutes of speaking with me.

I wish I would have known that time is of the essence and waits on no one. I also wish I would have realized I am in control of my own life and how much or how little I make of it is entirely up to me.

That I wish I went to this school as my first choice. Even though I am a transfer, I am still 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} happy with the decision I made of attending University of Phoenix. With their online course i can finally focus not just on my studies, but finding a full or part time job not only to support myself but my family as well.

As a returning college student, I wish I had known how difficult it is to go back to school. Students hear it all the time from parents and professionals, but we don't really have a full understanding of what they mean. Life gets in the way. I graduated with a degree in Psychology and believed that I would go back to school right away if it wasn't the right field for me. Nine years later, I am finally getting the chance to do that. I wish I had understood to get a second degree right away.

I wish I would have known myself. I knew what I wanted out of life, and I was selfish about how I wanted to spend not only my time, but my class time also. However, without really exploring my inner feelings about how I was currently spending my time and what the ultimate payoff would really be I was doing myself a great injustice. To know where you are going in life you need to know yourself, pay attention to each and every feeling, want and need. Get a good grasp on who you are and exactlty what you want.

I wish that I would have known that students are grouped by region - I live in a conservative, mid-western region and thus am not exposed to a lot of diversity in the classroom.

I was told everything about the school before I attended. I made sure to find out all the information I could before I came to University of Pheonix. The counslers there do everything they can to help you.

The financial aid part of it how much it was really going to cost.

Before I came to this school I didn't realize how convient online schools were which probably would have helped me go back to school sooner.

That even the most trivial APA error can cause offence to some instructors, otherwise I have found that online education has suited me well.

Exactly where my tuition was going to come from, I feel unprepared because I am still struggling with being able to pay.

How unchallenging it is, that I would not be learning anything I haven't already figured out on my own...and that my credits I had gotten here won't transfer to the local university I wanted to transfer to.

I was intimidated by the online campus environment, not sure how well I would be able to learn in an online environment. After taking classes for about seven months, I am very comfortable with the online environment, and I am simply amazed at how well I am retaining the information presented in the text, discussions, and assignments.

That you are not able to pick your teachers. That you have no choice with instructors in direct studies classes.
