A great college to attend a place to get an amazing career to live a better life a place to enjoy studying in the library enjoying the teachers who help you when needed who want their students to succeed in life and everyday surroundings a great college to be at for learning and to have a career
Yavapai College is a great place to start out your career. It is very affordable and there are classes for many different career options. I have greatly enjoyed my time at Yavapai college. The faculty are always there to help students to challenge themselves and succeed as well as many resources made available for better learning.
I think Yavapai College is a wonderful place to start, it is incredibly affordable, there is help every step of the way, no matter what your needs are. Staff and proffesors make time to meet and aid you in any way. It's a great Community College! I would recommend starting your College life here and finding the right path for you!
I love Yavapai College. Everyone is always so helpful and its a tight nit, yet open college. The professors are great and really want you to learn, and Prescott is a great place to live. Yavapai College is big enough to feel like a college, but not so big you get lost. It is a really fantastic school with lots of opportunity.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Yavapai College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would tell myself to work hard at everything, and make sure that i understood that i am on my own and i am responsible for what choices i make and the results i get. I would tell myself to choose good, reliable friends and never give up on anything or give in to anyone. I would tell myself to stick with it through the end even when it seems to hard because the reward will be more than a degree when i am through; it will be a gate to a life that has been earned. That's what i would tell myself.
Like I said before this is my first time going to yavapai college. Many complaints I have heard from other students and have experienced myself. They do not help as far as financial-aid goes, it's not that you won't get approved but they take either too long to review your finances, or they don't tell you about other information before it's to late to enrole. I do not have much experience in trying to get financial-aid being my first time going to college, but I thought they would be on top of that situation.
Spacious campus beautifully designed with well qualified instructures eager to help students progress.
My classmates are very focused, but you can find the occasional partier. In college, its alot different than high school, those of us who have to earn our college money, we take classes serious but still know how to have fun while doing so.
The main positive aspect that I tell my friends about Yavapai College is basically the same as the above. The smaller campus means you aren't just another body in a seat like in some larger colleges. It is easier to get help directly from the instructor, who actually knows your name.
What a positive environment this school is.
The best thing about my school is that it's size and the more personal and laid-back atmosphere that comes with it. Instead of a math class with 350 people that you may find at a large university, class sizes are smaller and thus allow for a more personal relationship with the instructor as well as the rest of the students in the class.
This school is not diverse enough for people who come from big cities with many different kinds of people. It will take some time to get used to the lack of diversity which would make it very hard to get along with people.
If you play sports this is the better community college for you. It is very sports oriented and does not do much of anything else except sporting events.
The most frustrating thing about my school is that we do not have free access to the workout gym or pool for excersie. We have to take a class for them or we have to pay a semester fee for them. I think that the people who live in the dorms should be able to have access to these rooms for health progress. Schools around the world are trying to find ways to make there students life healthy. This for sure is one way to help students health.
My school is probably best known for its sports teams. They have won several championships with the volleyball, soccer, baseball and softball teams. The players on those teams are hardworking and dedicated to both their academics and their sport. Most of the baseball players end up getting drafted to major university teams. This allows for a sports player to get a great education at a reasonable price and then be funneled to a university where a scholarship is available for them because of them doing so well at Yavapai College in their sport.
My school is a community college that has small classrooms that allow for the professor to actually care and get to know the students. Yavapai College also has dorms on campus which made it easier for me to make my decision. Yavapai College is a small campus which means that every building is simply a walk away and there is no real rush. The campus is so green that coming from the desert it is a breath of fresh air. It is a beautiful campus with professors that really care about my success.
