Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a female.
  4. Must be graduating from Princeton High School in New Jersey.
  5. Must be planning to pursue a career in education.
  6. Must be a high school senior at time of application. The student must be entering a four-year college or university, or a two-year college or vocational school.

  • Official Transcript
  • Acceptance letter
Additional Information: This is a competitive scholarship, and the recipient will be selected based on financial need, achievement and character.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available from the student's high school guidance office or online on the Princeton Area Community Foundation (PACF) website.In addition to the completed application, each student must submit a copy of her financial aid award letter, a copy of her acceptance letter from a college or vocational school, a personal statement responding to one of the questions listed on the application and reflecting her interest in pursuing a career in education, two letters of recommendation, a high school transcript and any additional supporting materials she wishes to include.The student must also file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the deadline date. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. The student is required to submit the SAR (Student Aid Report) which is generated upon completion and submission of the FAFSA.
