This scholarship is provided annually by the Broadcast Education Association to recognize and assist outstanding undergraduate students who plan to pursue a career in broadcasting. The applicant should be able to show substantial evidence of superior academic performance and the potential to be an outstanding electronic media professional. There should be compelling evidence that the applicant possesses high integrity and a well-articulated sense of personal & professional responsibility. Preference will be given to students attending two-year colleges that have at least one departmental membership with the Broadcast Education Association, as well as students at four-year BEA-affiliated colleges who graduated and transfered from a two-year BEA-affiliated school.
