Up to $3,000 awarded annually, renewable upon submission of supporting documentation, for the amount of time normally required to earn a degree, but in no instance will exceed four years. Please note: Scholarships are awarded to supplement other formal programs but will not exceed the annual tuition fee and on-campus room and board charges.
The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of qualified applicants.
NEEBC's Scholarship Program was established to advance the knowledge and education of individuals interested in the employee benefits field. Careers in employee benefits include: careers in the actuarial sciences; ERISA and legal aspects of employee benefits; careers in pension design and planning; work and family issues and careers in corporate employee benefits design, analysis and management. Awards will be based on the applicant's educational performance and his/her career aspirations and goals. Some of the other criteria used by the scholarship committee in determining award recipients are: school and community activities, work experience, future potential and academic performance. Current NEEBC Board members, their spouses and children are not eligible to participate.
