Description: The Ann Ferguson Women and Gender Studies Scholarship Fund is available for undergraduate and graduate students at University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Applicants must be majoring in gender studies or women's studies.

Additional Information: The Ann Ferguson Women and Gender Studies Scholarship Fund provides scholarships through the administration of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. Scholarships are provided to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst who are majoring in gender studies or women's studies. Judges will consider academic achievements, unmet financial need, and students who show potential for contributions to their field.

Award Amount: The average annual award amount is $1,000. All awards are provided on a one-time basis and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications for the Ann Ferguson Women and Gender Studies Scholarship Fund are available and accepted between January 1 and March 31. To apply for this scholarship, students must complete the online application at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts website. Completed application forms will also require students to submit a recent copy of transcripts as well as their current year Student Aid Report. The Student Aid report is obtained when the student completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All applications must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
