$1,000 annually, non-renewable. Recipients may reapply each year to continue receiving the scholarship. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale to reapply.
The number of awards offered varies annually.
Applicants must demonstrate school and community activity. Applicants must be able to answer specific financial questions listed on the application. Recipients must attend an accredited institution that charges tuition. A recipient must not utilize this scholarship while attending a tuition-free institution, such as a military academy. The parent or sponsor of the applicant must not have been a National Pawnbrokers Association officer or employee or a member of the FBL (Future Business Leaders) qualifying committee during the 12 consecutive months preceding the application deadline. This time period also applies if the parent or sponsor of the applicant is deceased.
