In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must reside in Hillsborough County, Florida.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must demonstrate having turned his/her life around from bad decisions and circumstances such as drugs, crime, and unplanned parenthood.

Additional Information: The Grand Krewe de Libertalia Comeback Kid Scholarship is provided annually to a Hillsborough County, FL high school senior who demonstrates having turned his or her life around from negative influences, difficult circumstances, and/or bad decisions, such as crime, drug use, unplanned parenthod, and other troubled situations.

Award Amount: $500  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
