Number of Awards & Eligibility: Approximately three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a member of GTE Financial Credit Union (students may apply during the scholarship application).
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for current high school seniors who have a grade point average of 3.0 and are members of GTE Financial Credit Union in the Tampa Bay area. Students may become members of GTE prior to or during the scholarship application process.

Additional Information: Scholarships will be provided to students who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and community service.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable. Previous recipients are eligible to apply in future years, but renewal is not guaranteed.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.

Scholarship information can be found online at the GTE Financial website using the link provided. To be considered for this award, students must complete the online application form and include the following documents: a transcript of recently completed coursework; and five essays and short answer responses as described in the application. All applications must be submitted online no later than the deadline date. Additional supplemental materials may be sent to the provided address if they cannot be uploaded through the online application system.
