  2. Must be a graduating high school senior.

Description: The Jean Weber Memorial Scholarship Fund is available for graduating high school seniors in Ventura County, California. Applicants must demonstrate involvement and leadership in the school community and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: The Jean Weber Memorial Scholarship Fund is provided annually through a partnership with the Ventura County Community Foundation. The scholarship program seeks to reward students who demonstrate leadership and involvement in the community through a focus on safety and citizenship at school. Award selection will be based on these attributes as well as the applicant's academic records.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications for the Jean Weber Memorial Scholarship Fund are available online at the Ventura County Community Foundation website. To apply for an award, students must complete all sections of the online application form. Applicants must also submit an original essay in response to the award's topic, as well as two letters of recommendation. At least one letter of recommendation must be submitted by a current faculty member at the school the student is attending. All applications and supporting documents must be received by the deadline date.
