Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year the Marilyn M. and Russell S. Fox Nursing Scholarship is offered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior.
  2. Must plan to major in nursing.
  3. Must reside in Worcester County, MA.

Additional Information: The Marilyn M. and Russell S. Fox Nursing Scholarship is provided annually through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF). Applicants must be graduating high school seniors in Worcester County, Massachusetts, and they must be planning to major in and pursue a career in nursing. All applications completed prior to the deadline date will be given full consideration based on academic history, unmet financial need, and the strength of received recommendation letters. Special consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate a passion for nursing based on work experience, extracurricular participation, or other activities related to nursing.

Award Amount: Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1,800 and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,800.
