Description: The Mary Ann Binkoski Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors in the city of Worcester, MA. Applicants must plan to become teachers.

Application requirements for the Mary Ann Binkoski Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: The Mary Ann Binkoski Scholarship is provided annually through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF). Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors in the city of Worcester who are planning to pursue a career as a teacher. The GWCF has provided opportunity and financial assistance for more than 40 years in the central Massachusetts area, and continues this mission today with a variety of programs including scholarships for local area students. All applications completed prior to the deadline date will be given full consideration based on academic history, unmet financial need, and the strength of received recommendation letters. Preference will be given to students who show a strong interest in the teaching profession through their application responses, such as extracurricular involvement in education.

Award Amount: $600 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $600.
