Recipients will be awarded the same amount as the Board of Governors Scholarship ($5,000 annually) plus $2,000 for their first and second years to be applied to on-campus room and board. Non-Missouri residents will also receive a full waiver of non-resident fees. Recipients will also receive a $500 voucher to apply toward an MSU-approved study away program. To renew the scholarship, students must complete 30 credit hours each academic year and maintain a cumulative MSU grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

Qualified candidates will be notified of their status in late December and invited to attend a scholarship interview and program in early 2019. Attendance at the interview is required for consideration for the scholarship. After interviews have taken place, all candidates will be evaluated and students will be selected for the Presidential Scholarship and University Scholarship by mid-February.
