Number of Awards & Eligibility: Over 225 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be registered with National Beta Headquarters as of June 30 of the year before the application deadline.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  4. Must plan to enroll full time at an accredited college or university.
  5. Must be a high school senior at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for U.S. high school seniors who are active members of the National Beta Club. Applicants must plan to enroll full time at an accredited college or university.

Application requirements for the National Beta Club Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Nomination
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • $15 app. fee
Additional Information: Selection of National Beta Club Scholars is based on a number of factors with special emphasis placed upon academic excellence, demonstrated leadership, character, school/community service and participation in National Beta Club activities.

Award Amount: $1,000 to $20,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,180.

Applications are not currently being accepted. Please check back in November when applications become available. Applications and other materials are mailed to Beta Club sponsors/faculty advisers each September (in the fall mailing box). Students interested in applying should contact their Beta Club sponsors for more information. Applications are available online and will be accepted beginning Nov. 1. As part of the application process, the applicant must submit his/her SAT or ACT scores and an application fee of $10. Students taking the SAT can release their scores by indicating code 9867 on the 'Reports to Colleges and Scholarship Programs' section on the SAT registration form. Students who take the ACT can release their test scores by indicating code 9867 on the registration folder. Alternatively, students may report their test scores by both filling them in on the application and by submitting an official school transcript that includes the scores. Semi-finalists will receive further application instructions from ISTS the week of Feb. 19. All application materials must be postmarked by the deadline date.
